Penny Tree is for sharing real, in-store penny and clearance finds — photos of products, shelf tags, and receipts, plus honest commentary that helps other shoppers. This policy covers what you can post and how we handle content.
Penny Tree has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that sexualizes minors. Such content is removed, the account is banned, the material is preserved as required by law, and the incident is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and, through them, to law enforcement. Uploaded images are screened automatically before they are shown, and reports are prioritized for human review.
Every photo and comment has a report control, which sends it to a human review queue. To report child-safety content directly, email safety@pennytree.org — these reports are prioritized.
We may remove content, limit features, or ban accounts for violations, with or without notice. We use automated screening plus human review; neither is perfect, and community reports are the backstop.
