Affiliate disclosure
Last updated August 21, 2026
The short version. Some outbound links on Penny Tree are affiliate or referral links. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission — at no extra cost to you. You never pay more for using our link. Those links are marked affiliate wherever they appear.
What is and isn't an affiliate link
Most stores in Ned's Deals are not affiliate partners. We list deals because they're good deals, whether or not there's any money in it for us. Only the links we actually earn from carry the affiliate marker, and every page that has any says so at the top, before you click anything.
Links to Dollar Tree, Dollar General and other retailers from item pages and penny lists are ordinary links unless marked otherwise.
What it does not change
- What we list. Deals are found by an automated scanner and filtered on price and discount. Nothing gets added because a store pays us.
- How we rank. Ordering is driven by discount depth and the other signals described on the deals page. A commission is not one of them.
- What you pay. An affiliate link costs you exactly the same as typing the address in yourself.
Ned's Picks
A deal marked ⭐ Ned's Pick is chosen by a human because it looked like a genuinely good deal. Picks are not sold, and a store cannot pay to be picked.
Advertising
Penny Tree also carries display advertising. Ads are served by third parties and are labelled as advertising where they appear; they are separate from the deals themselves and do not influence them. See our privacy policy for how advertising partners handle data.
Deals are leads, not endorsements
Ned aggregates thousands of independent stores automatically, so we can't personally vet every seller. Check a store before you buy, and paying with something that carries buyer protection is a sensible hedge. Prices and stock change fast — always confirm on the store's own page.
