2. A penny at pOpshelf is register-only: it is never orderable online, and the same item at a Dollar General is usually still full price.

So the item on the shelf can look identical but actually be the new (full-price) version. Match the exact item number, not just the look — small differences in packaging, size, or wording are the tell.
